FIFTH SUNDAY OF EASTER

  • For the month of May, First Thursday, First Friday and First Saturday devotions with adoration of The Blessed Sacrament will NOT be observed. However, Mass on Thursday and Friday will be celebrates at 8:00 am as usual followed by the Rosary.
  • Sto Nino Mass will be celebrated on May 10th at 7:00 pm. May 13 is the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima. There will be the traditional candlelight procession of Our Lady’s image in the church grounds AT 7:00 PM .Everyone is welcome to bring their own image of Our Lady to the church to be blessed.
  • Feast of The Ascencion of The Lord. (a Holy Day of Obligation), will be celebrated on May 12th Sunday.
  • Volunteers are still needed to help maintain our yard. Any day or time volunteered is not too small. Please use the signup sheet at the back of the church so we can arrange for someone to open the sheds and make the equipment available to you.
  • Deacon Jack’s Bible Study is back on the calendar as of last Thursday, April 25th in Angels Hall. Session starts at 10:30 am.
  • Food Pantry collection is scheduled the weekend of May 4th and 5th.
  • Upcoming Events:
    • On May 11, Saturday, at 11:00 am, Deacon Vega will hold a training session for Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communionfor any interested parishioner. Session will take place inside the church. No registration is needed.
    • ALTAR SERVERS: Parents please complete the green ministry application sheet at the back of the church if your children are interested to train as Altar Servers. We are in great need of Altar Servers for all the Masses. The only requirement: candidate should have had their First Communion.
    • Keep your calendars open for June 8; Nazarene Circle ladies are holding a “LUAU” dinner and dance fundraiser. Tickets will be sold on weekends after every Mass starting this weekend at$35.
    • MHR will be holding another rummage sale the weekend of June 21 and 22. All donated items are welcome except- NO FURNITURE please.
  • Special notice to parishioners:
    *UNAUTHORIZED VEHICLES LEFT AT MHR PARKING LOT WILL BE TOWED AWAY BY: ASAP TOWING. A sign has been posted at the church entrance. Please notify the office if you plan to leave your vehicles in the parking lot. We need the car tag number and model of the vehicle.

Religious Education starts Tuesday, September 3rd 6:30 p.m.

Our religious education program is here to help your child learn about Christ and His Church. While we help prepare for the sacraments of initiation, we are also here to help your child come to know Christ better throughout their school years.
If your child needs to receive a sacrament (First Communion or Confirmation*), the sacramental preparation requires two consecutive years. Please remember, this is not just for Sacraments! We are here to help you teach your children the love of Christ throughout their development!

While we do charge tuition to help run our program, we will never turn a family away for financial reasons. We are here to serve you and the mission of the Church.

*If your child is in need of the Sacrament of Confirmation special discussion will be required for eligibility and because we only have celebrate this sacrament in odd years (the next Confirmation class for newly enrolled students will be 2027)
